Hi, I’m Kristin.
I’m the owner and founder of The Rooted Counseling Co., where I lead a team of dedicated therapists serving clients across Texas. Before starting Rooted, I worked as a Clinical Director and helped grow a counseling practice from the ground up, building systems, culture, and purpose that supported both clients and clinicians. I bring that same experience into my work today — creating spaces that are effective, authentic, and deeply human. My passion is helping people find clarity and confidence in who they are, whether that’s through therapy, leadership, or building a life that finally feels like their own.
As a counselor . . .
I work with women who are strong and capable but feel like they’re always one step away from falling apart.
The ones who keep showing up, taking care of everyone, and pushing through, even when they’re running on empty. You might not even call it anxiety. You just know your mind doesn’t rest, your patience feels thin, and it’s getting harder to enjoy the life you’ve built.
Here, you don’t have to keep pretending it’s all fine.
We slow things down. We get honest about what’s working and what’s wearing you out. And we start to rebuild some space for you. Space to breathe. To rest. To reconnect with who you are underneath the constant doing.
My goal isn’t to make you better. It’s to help you feel steady in your own skin again. Because when you start feeling like yourself, everything else begins to shift.

My Specialities
Anxiety
You hold it all together on the outside, but inside it feels like your mind never turns off. The constant tension, second-guessing, and need to have everything under control are wearing you down. Anxiety doesn’t always look like panic — sometimes it looks like overthinking, irritability, or exhaustion that never fully goes away. In therapy, we’ll get curious about what’s driving the worry and start building a steadier, more peaceful way to move through your days.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
You might feel trapped by thoughts that don’t make sense or feel out of control. The more you try to push them away, the stronger they seem to get. Together, we’ll work to understand what’s happening in your mind and use evidence-based tools to help you respond differently — with clarity, confidence, and freedom.
Postpartum
Motherhood changes everything — your routines, your body, your identity, your sense of control. You love your baby, but you also miss yourself. Whether you’re feeling anxious, irritable, or simply lost in the noise of it all, therapy is a space to be honest about what this season is really like and learn to steady yourself again.
